Highly Esteemed Donors

Funds collected help support PATA's free spay/neuter clinics

Tons of folks donate to PATA. Every single donation is appreciated -- donations make the PATA clinics possible.
Do you know of special donors you'd like to see highlighted? Send us an email and tell us about them. We'll take it from there.

Team Las Vegas, Supporters since 2009

Not only have these loyal supporters brought supplies, sent money and encouraged their friends to support PATA, but they also make time in their schedules to travel to Manzanillo to volunteer with us. How selfless is that!?

Team Vancouver Island, Supporters since 2010

A fun group of avid supporters, our Vancouver Island contingent began when one person helped with one of our mobile spay/neuter clinics. That person told a few friends and before you know it, they were holding charity events and traveling to Manzanillo to volunteer at more clinics.

Chris Newbold and Team Calgary, Supporters since 2008

Chris spent over 60 hours creating a quilt to raffle off to raise money for PATA. Then she turned the project over to Canada Post workers, Jane and Michelle, who sold $1,000 worth of raffle tickets (incredible!). Amber was the lucky winner of the quilt, and PATA is the lucky recipient of the donations.

Chris is using some of the money to buy surgery instruments. Working with donated instruments, our vets have had to use whatever hodge-podge we could find. We only had one set of very small tools to operate on the kitties and small puppies. With the Calgary groups' generous help, the vets will be able to safely spay the littler pets.

John and Susan LeCoq

Susan said, "I own a house in Club Santiago, but I have not been there for 16 years...I was so saddened to see the starving dogs. I brought two dogs home from the beach in 1982, adored both, and they had long, happy lives with me. My daughter, Andrea, brought two dogs home a year ago.

"I am very impressed with what you are doing, and admire you. If I go back to Manzanillo, I will find you and hug you."

Tim and Mary Dee from Minnesota

These two donated two very large shipping crates, and assorted smaller ones. The large ones were put into service the very first day they arrived, at a mobile mini-clinic.

It's critical to have large crates for the street dogs because most have never been restrained and need a safe place to wait for surgery.
